I needed to memorize this verse as a reminder to my heart (and my boys) that God’s law is not burdensome. Burdensome can be a difficult word for little ones so we thought of some synonyms. When something is a burden it means that it’s hard to carry, it can wear you down like carrying a heavy load. But this verse says that God’s word is NOT a burden. It’s light! And following his commands actually makes life sweeter.
